4.1.1 Social protection beneficiaries by type of beneficiary and sex

Social welfare beneficiary is every person who has used certain forms and measures of social welfare and social work services, once or several times during the reference year. Beneficiaries are classified into two basic age groups – minor and adult beneficiaries. Minor beneficiaries disadvantaged by family situation without both parents, of unknown parents, abandoned by parents, children of parents prevented from performing parental duty, children of parents deprived of parental rights, coming from economically disadvantaged families, coming from families with disturbed family relationships and other minors with disturbed family relationship, then physically and mentally handicapped minors, minors with behavioural and personality disorders and Minor beneficiaries in need of different social and protective services. Adult beneficiares, respectively beneficiaries of subventions are physically and mentally disabled with visual disorders, with hearing disorders, physically disabled, mentally disabled, other disabled persons, persons with combined disorders, persons with socially unacceptable behaviour, mentally ill persons, persons not having a sufficient income to support themselves, financially unprovided.
